Role Summary: IT Production Support Lead accountable for operating and monitoring the health and well-being of production applications for the Clinical IT. Ensure application availability per business SLAs. Accountable for issue triage, including application crisis management and reporting. Responsible to lead the root cause analysis process and provide support for production defects, subsequently resolving or routing to the teams accountable for service restoration. Accountable for facilitation and communication of issues defined as high/critical business impact across IT and Business, to resolution
Serve as a lead Production Support resource across multiple applications in the Cigna Medical Group and Clinical IT including EHR, Radiology, Health Coaching and Incentive applications that are hosted internally and externally.
Effective troubleshooting skills across network, security, web, DB and server technologies.
Candidate would work directly with the L3 delivery team, business and infrastructure teams across multiple technologies in support of a large suite of applications serving as a technology lead and escalation point for the broader Clinical IT support team.
Qualifications: - Effective written and oral communications. Production support documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Debugging skills.
- Responsible for production best practices, technical and operating standards (e.g. Run time improvements, Data Quality improvements) and workflow process
- 5+ years of Technical background in supporting various server platforms. Windows, Linux, Citrix, and virtual environments.
- Ability to influence technical discussions and decisions
- Previous experience in EPIC application support or similar medical systems a plus.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles for Incident and Problem resolutions. Root cause analysis.
- Understanding of application development life cycles and supporting test environments.
- Experience with application performance management tools.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 98,200 - 163,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
