About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a background in Chemical Engineering or a related field, ideally with a PhD, and a minimum of 20 years' experience in the industry, with at least 10 years specifically in RNA or related fields. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technology development and scale-up teams, defining and executing CMC strategies to support IND filings and clinical trials, and establishing quality systems and processes. The role requires a strong network in RNA and/or nanoparticle development, as well as clear experience in strategic management, planning, and execution. Key responsibilities for the CTO at the company include building and overseeing teams across multiple functions, from discovery to clinical development, and ensuring the successful identification and evaluation of new technologies. The CTO will also provide leadership in manufacturing and supply chain strategy, maintain effective relationships with both internal and external partners, and work closely with regulatory bodies to implement CMC-related regulatory strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technology development for clinical applications, a strong background in CMC, and experience in driving operational excellence to meet world-class manufacturing standards.
