Job Title: Entry-Level Biologist

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an Entry-Level Biologist, where you will conduct routine analysis, testing for pathogens such as E.coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, and perform plating for yeast, mold, and total plate count. This role offers the opportunity to expand your skills into probiotics testing and flow cytometry in the future.
Hard Skills

• B.S. in Life Sciences (Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.) (preferred)
• Associates in Life Sciences (Required)
• Experience in food testing or food service
• Media preparation
• Proficiency in dilution, plate methods, and pour plate methods

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-like environment
• Adaptability to repetitive tasks

Work Environment

• The work environment in Madison focuses on testing dietary microbiology and probiotics. The pace is fast, akin to production work, to meet client timeframes.
