Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Position Highlights:

Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money.
Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary

Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient.
Demonstrates effective verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to perform a thorough systems assessments.
Directs, plans, and coordinates workflow.

Education and/or Experience

Graduate of Registered Nursing Education program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Must have current RN licensure in the state of South Dakota and or meeting criteria.
Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and PALS certification or completion upon next available program.

Work Schedule

Day shift; 48 hours every 2 weeks
- One day off in the two-week pay period
- On call one day per week and every 4th weekend
- On call 1–2 holidays per year

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$31.00 - $46.50 per hour
