Volt is immediately hiring a Data Analyst for their Retail team in Fountain Valley, CA.
As a Retail Data Analyst you will:
- Assist in the areas of district, regional and national retail analysis and planning
- Provide management with data to be utilized in making well informed decisions
- Ability to prepare and analyze big data sets including regional scorecards
- Create user friendly reports and dashboards utilizing various systems
- Streamline systems/data amalgamation process to support GMA’s internal and external reporting needs
- Prepare, analyze and present retail and field facing reports on a weekly/ monthly basis
- Prepare presentation material for Executive Governance meetings
- Complete special ad hoc projects to support Company strategic initiatives
- Support month-end executive sales reporting and executive summaries as needed
- Ensure accuracy of reporting across all departments including sales, service, distribution and marketing
This is a full-time opportunity, long term temp for 6 months, with strong possibility of being extended. It also offers the foot in the door of a top company known to hire on our talent. Hours are M-F from 8am- 5pm, position is hybrid working three days onsite and two days remote.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in data analytics / data analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills; pivot tables, v look ups and formulas
- Experience with Tableau preferred
- Completed Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field
- CRM and/or SAP experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
Pay Rate: $32-35/hr
