Job Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. This full-time position involves providing interpretation services for an 18-year-old male student who is autistic, non-verbal, and municates using American Sign Language (ASL). The position requires onsite presence only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 interpretation services for an 18-year-old male student.
• Encourage the student to municate effectively in ASL with others.
• Support the student's engagement and participation in educational activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Sign Language Interpreter certification.
• Experience in providing interpretation services, particularly in educational settings.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with deaf culture.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
