Oregon Metal Fabrication has a nearly 20year reputation of providing high quality metal fabrication. We specialize in industrial and commercial fabrication, take pride in our work, and are continually innovating and improving our manufacturing and fabrication process. The shop environment is quick pace, is consistently tackling new projects, and constantly growing. This is a fulltime position located in Sandy, OR. Opportunities for overtime are available depending on workload.

The perfect candidate will demonstrate experience welding as well as:

• Print reading
• Layout and fitting
• Pride in their work, and high standards
• Ability to self-manage, problem solve, and self-correct to ensure quality and efficiency
• A working knowledge of blueprint reading

General skills needed:

• GMAW, FCAW
• Cutting tools (Oxy / Plasma)
• Hand tools (grinder, drill, mag drill, etc.)
• Safe machine operations -
  • Iron worker, Shear, Punches, Etc.
• Rigging, crane, and forklift operations
• Layout and fixture building for repeatable assembly
• Determining optimal weld procedures
• Quality check layouts, fixtures, welds against prints
